[email protected] is not a general discussion list. It is for
tracking bugs filed via the ITS system at <http://www.openldap.org/its>.
After you file an ITS, you can then respond via email to the generated
messages so that data goes into the ITS.
Given the multitude of issues fixed since 2.4.11, I would advise you
upgrade to the latest stable (2.4.19) for those reasons alone. It would be
good to know if you still see this issue, and I wonder if it is possibly
related in some way to ITS#6327, although that is with searches on an entry
with an attribute with many values.
