Browsers will drop support for ftp:// URLs pretty soon.
So the download page should link https:// URLs of mirrors if available.
Currently these mirrors support it:
https://mirror.eu.oneandone.net/software/openldap/openldap-release/
https://gpl.savoirfairelinux.net/pub/mirrors/openldap/openldap-release/
IMO OpenLDAP's own site should also provide downloads via HTTPS:
https://ftp.openldap.org/pub/OpenLDAP/openldap-release/
