I cannot reproduce this. Now stopping and starting of the newest 2.6 version
(0dc9ff2594da09) does work without problem.

For the record, I was running an older version 2.6 older version (I do not know
how old). Then installed the most current openldap, then restarted openldap
and it failed, because of the invalid free. This happened repeatedly. Then I
installed slightly older version, it could not start, as there was insufficient
access to the directory of olcTLSCACertificateFile . I fixed the access, the
older version ran correctly.

Then I installed the newest version, restarded. It works. I limited the access
again to a directory on the path of olcTLSCACertificateFile. slapd filed to
start, without crashing. I fixed the access again, started slapd, it runs.
