Please rerun valgrind with --keep-debuginfo=yes, otherwise the SASL mech symbols are lost when the modules are unloaded. It's not necessary to show reachable memory, we only need to look at the blocks that valgrind says are definitely lost. Which version of Cyrus SASL are you using?
