What for?  That's the advantage of underscores - an editor is more
likely to treat a single keyword as a single word...

Yupp. I'd consider this better too (e.g. also for marking the whole keyword by double-click).

And underscores can also be directly used as variable names in programming languages.

But I don't have strong objections against hyphens.
