I think I prefer the current situation to such... And I already have ./config.status --r But on new checkouts, I normally just do --enable-backends --enable- overlays, wait for breakage, and then add disable flags as needed. Unforunately, it sometimes takes a few tries. So, in short, I concur that doing more here is likely not worth the effort. -- Kurt
