OK, thanks. In any case, while refactoring the rdnval.c (ITS#6055), I also implemented this <ftp://ftp.openldap.org/incoming/pierangelo-masarati-2010-04-18-pguid.c>. It keeps the parentUUID in sync, and repairs the database at startup (useful when the overlay is added on existing databases). p.
