Thank you . Indeed I was able to reproduce with the latest Debian package (slapd_2.4.31= +really2.4.40+dfsg-1+deb8u1~bpo70+1_amd64) . I will forward this bug to the Debian team however I feel that this has not= hing to do with Debian as the slapd shows the initial shutdown log and not= the rest.
