i just wasnted to give a quick thanks to all who contribute to the two
LDAP lists (openldap and U of M). due to the excellent answers given by
the list members, i now have a fully functional/scalable directory
service in place (for a fraction of the cost of proprietary solutions).
it is awesome this intelligent resource helping others. hopefully i can
repay some of my debt to the list in the future ;)
