BDB 4.3.X is a known problem release. Use BDB 4.2.52+patches or BDB
4.4.latest+patches.
You are kidding me?? I tried to marry 4.4 with Sendmail and
it just crashed causing mail to be dropped on the floor.
Are you telling me 4.3 and OpenLDAP is not an option?
I'm telling you that if you use BDB 4.3 with OpenLDAP, you use it at your
own risk. You could try to compile OpenLDAP with one version of BDB, and
sendmail with another, if Sendmail won't work with 4.4.
