I'm not sure how to reconcile that one with the advice in Database and log file archival http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/ref/transapp/archival.html It says you only need archive the last logfile. You need to stop slapd first though. Or sync to another slapd, then stop and backup that slapd's database. -- Hallvard
