Does a following command work for you from the same machine? LDAPTLS_CACERTDIR=/etc/openldap/cacerts ldapsearch -ZZ -x -H ldap://ibm-01.flamengro.co.za -b dc=flamengro,dc=com (You can add -d1 for debug output.) Jan
