I have a doubt in setting up multimaster syncrepl configuration.
I just added syncrepl information for the "dn: olcDatabase={0}config,cn=config"
and overlays for "dn: olcOverlay=syncprov,olcDatabase={0}config,cn=config" in
both the Master 1 and Master 2 servers.
But I didn't add any syncrepl for "dn: olcDatabase={1}mdb,cn=config" for any
server. While adding I got this error:
modifying entry "olcDatabase={1}mdb,cn=config"
ldap_modify: Server is unwilling to perform (53)
additional info: shadow context; no update referral
Nevertheless, what I am unable to understand is that my data is replicating in
both the servers correctly. Is there no difference between adding syncrepl for
config database or mdb database.
Or adding syncrepl to config database is applicable for all the databases?
