The CentOS project has now also elected to drop support for the OpenLDAP
server package starting with 8.1:

I will note that Symas continues to offer free packages for Centos8/RHEL8
users based off of the Centos8.0 package. We will likely move this to
mirror
the Fedora package (which is what the CentOS package was based on).
