I know the delay itself is out of our control, but I'm not entirely sure moving it from startup to just-before-video plays is necessarily much better. We just end up with a situation where the Leader says "And now lets watch the video" and there is an uncomfortable 18s delay whilst phonon is created.
Is there a way of loading it in it's own thread at startup?
