This is done for purpose and there is extra code to perform this.
Otherwhise the dialog width would depend on the minimum with of a single
setting item. It allows you to resize the settings dialog to values
smaller than this. If you increase the width every column will be same
size.

The groupboxes on some of the tabs are different sizes. Noticeable
when you switch tabs.
