This is already automated. I don't think it needs to be done from a
Linux machine running Wine. Using that logic you could argue that we
should also be able to provide OS X builds from Windows... where do you
stop?

Bug description:
  I'm not sure, how are windows builds created now, but I suppose that a
  new build is available when somebody creates it and uploads it to the
  download area.

  Nightly builds could be automated by creating a cron job (or use any similar 
tool) which would periodically every night:
  - checkout bzr trunk repo
  - create windows build (linux server with wine)
  - upload it to the download area
