I believe this is already possible.
You can use the loop functionality to automatically loop through the slides.
Using the toggle to keep previous Bible search results, multiple verses can be
added to a single slide.

Bug description:
It would be nice, if at spare time in between of services or on other time,
OpenLP could show Bible verses without operator's help.
Verses could scroll slowly or be changed after some timeout. Also it should
be possible to provide scroller with a simple list of passages, which to show.
With or without passages list it could remember where it stopped last time and
continue from there.
