Translucent display has broken phonon video

Bug description:
I thought it was too good to be true. It appears that by making
maindisplay translucent I have broken Phonon videos. (Webkit still OK)
~crichter has discovered it relates to Qt bug

Unfortunately just turning the translucent attribute on and off when
required doesn't appear to work as the display stops redrawing when
turning translucency off after it has been on.
** UPDATE: Partially fixed. This is now only a problem after someone
has used a transparent theme. **
