Tim, I don't understand why adding a new player /here/ will be a big problem. Yes it was a problem for media because that was all integrated with songs, the toolbar, etc and there was a lot of overlap across plugins.
However the Presentations plugin is completely designed to deal with third party apps. All they need to be able to do is blank, and the plugin will deal with the rest. Having a simple Window that can go full screen is not going to have the problems that we had with media.
