Live panel width resizing / blank buttons

O/S: Windows 7
Version: trunk 2.1r2434
I have the Live panel sized to the minimum, so the single drop-down blank
buttons appear.
If I go live on another song, the panel will sometimes increase and it will
display both the dropdown blank buttons and the individual 3 side by side blank
buttons at the same time.
Going live on different songs from this point on (switching between single
verse songs and multi-verse for example, or to songs with audio) seems to then
randomly hide/show these blank buttons and the width of the panel just
fluctuates.
If I size the panel to a certain width, then it should remain this
size when possible (i.e. switching from 3 blank buttons to single
blank button if necessary). This should certainly be the case if "View
-> Lock Panels" is ticked.
Regardless of this, both the dropdown blank and side by side blanks
should never appear at the same time.
