Oh, no! [hand slapping forehead] I just realized the service file I used yesterday to test the bug is today's service file in which I had substituted JPEGs for the bug-causing Custom Slides. So of course, the bug did not show up!
Just now I tested with an older service file, and as I had feared, the bug is still there. However, since it is not there for Tomas, I guess I will just continue to use substitute JPEGs.
