Since we seem to be agreed, let's get the PyQt5 branch merged, and then do an Alpha release. I'm available this coming weekend, the 26th and 27th. The following weekend I am not available.
To be perfectly honest, I'd prefer an alpha release this coming weekend, then a beta release on the 10th, and a "stable" release on the 31st.
