1-2-3-4 buttons on dashboard don't do anything

Referring to the 1-2-3-4 icons on the users dashboard. These "buttons" give
the impression to the end user that he/she needs to click it before starting.
The icons are large button-shaped, yet have no UI functionality and ultimately
creates confusion for the end user.
