I think that not all of the elements of openmeetings need to be integrated at once. The audio / video part is the most unique, difficult to reproduce feature of openmeetings. I imagine that the user / profile systems could integrate, something like buddylist2 could maybe handle the user list http://drupalmodules.com/module/buddylist2
