1. Please note: /home/video/openmeetings/ooomeetings-daemon points to /home/video/ openmeetings/ooomeetings-daemon
On its own, the script is in your home directory (/home/video/), and in the application directory (~/openmeetings) is a referenced to it. This is done to ensure that the developer had one script for all installations. And in my case ~ / openmeetings is also a link pointing to the current assembly 2. Whether there are files ooomeetings-daemon and red5-daemon in your home directory? 3. Set the user ownership of a file whose name they run: sudo chown - R video:video /home/video/openmeetings/ PS: I greatly altered scripts, and later publish them.
