you mean the public Demo Server or your Demo Server? Actually there is no big difference in that area in the last releases.
What might be an issues is when you enter a room that something is loaded to the whiteboard from previous session, but actually its that little that nobody can see it. I think one bug is that it simulates the *pointer* tool also as regular whiteboard event.
