What do you mean by "step 1" and "step 2"? For me, the first 3 steps on
the document are essentially the same.
Please try to describe what you tried and what the error is.
I've installed OM on CentOS 5 and SL6 a few times now. This guide needs
a few tweaks, but nothing obscure.
About being misguided, I think people are here voluntarily. You should
try to be objective in your question and people will be willing to help.
If that's not what you want, you can always hire a consultant.
