Sorry, I missed that point: *2) the message displaying user "first+last name" is displayed near the object drawn on the whiteboard*
For the No1 I think the Activity Box is the best way to show it, but for the No2 you're obviously right, the shape is the best place to show it. But is there also an option to enable/disable showing labels? Maybe in the property editor or at the Full-Fit checkbox. That would be perfect.
