Hi,

we should release a new package by this week, there are a lot of changes.
Maybe the improvement on the EntityManager Vasiliy recommends can be
implemente for that release.

Some of the Spring Session Loading mechanism too, but I think that it is no
problem to include that in a later, for example 2.0 release.

There are enough changes and new features like the possibility to
play/upload videos and the Activity List, as well as important Bug fixes
like the scrollbar for the documents and some Bug in the Moodle Integration
that makes the recording button invisible.

The Apache Incubator Process is still runnig, however there can be no
release under Apache Incubation as long as Red5 is needed to run the code.
That is the info that I've got from somebody from the Apache Board (I think
PMC called). At least it looks like a lot of discussion upfront and we have
enough feature to-come / on the RoadMap that can be implemented for a
possible Apache release.

In the meantime we could also try to improve for example to bring our
packages to the official Debian Repository SID.
There are already people working on that.
