I've installed red5-openmeetings-0.8rc3-r2051.zip on a Debian Lenny.
Works OK, except for the screenviewer client part :
1) It doesn't work with Windows or MACOS with JRE1.5.19, here what I
get when jrdesktop launch :
java.lang.Exception
at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.continueLaunch(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.handleApplicationDesc(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.handleLaunchFile(Unknown Source)
at com.sun.javaws.Launcher.run(Unknown Source)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Unknown Source)
2) With Windows/JRE1.6, it works, but it constantly shows a warning
about bad bandwitch on
the moderator and the user screen (I'm on LAN with a core2duo server/
2go ram)
3) On Linux/JRE1.6, it works OK
I've tried to use the classic (no jrdesktop) screenviewer module, but
event if I change in the config, it doesn't work : it keeps launching
jrdesktop, any idea ?
Last thing : it's very hard to have a clean screenshot : the only way
I have found to have a clean screenshot, is to send at most 600x600px,
but it's not usable for our users... Any idea how to improve that ?
