hi,

to bring OpenMeetings in line with the License of OpenLaszlo we will switch
from the LGPL to the EPL with the next release.

What does that mean for you?
- Nothing actually.

Eclipse Public License is even a bit more liberal then (L)GPL

Quote from wikkipedia

The Eclipse Public License is designed to be a business friendly free
software license, and features weaker
copyleft<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Copyleft>provisions than
contemporary licenses such as the GNU
General Public
License<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/GNU_General_Public_License>(GPL).
The receiver of EPL-licensed programs can use, modify, copy and
distribute the work and modified versions, in some cases being obligated to
release their own
changes.[2]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclipse_Public_License#cite_note-epl-1>

The EPL is approved by the Open Source
Initiative<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Open_Source_Initiative>(OSI)
[3]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclipse_Public_License#cite_note-osi-approved-2>and
the Free
Software Foundation <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Free_Software_Foundation>(FSF)
[4]<http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eclipse_Public_License#cite_note-FSFLicenseList-3>
