yes true, the demo room would always be active even after timeout when using SOAP
what i did is, i wrote a javascript function that would redirect upon the set demo room time interval. though not accurate as if your server takes lot of time to connect to openmeetings then it would mean the room would run for a lesser time, but add a few seconds on the set time by default to keep a buffer. it does solve the thing for now so if using SOAP for now i believe it would be the application logic that would handle the timeout and not openmeetings.
