the Error from his logs would mean: error-Cannot run program "ffmpeg": java.io.IOException: error=2, No such file or directory and error-Cannot run program "sox": java.io.IOException: error=2, No such file or directory so maybe the system cannot find the executables cause they are not added to the $PATH variable? Anyway you should install latest FFMPEG package from the SVN with libmp3lame enabled and an up to date copy of SoX (compiling from source is not needed but it should be a version of SoX 14.x.x, did not test 13.x.x but 12.x.x seems to be too old as its from 2005/2006.... But I don't know which version you did in the ubuntu repositories at the moment).
