Hi all,

Was testing OpenMeeting. Amazing work devs.

Have some questions on the call quality. I tried the facebook sample
app that's available. I tried room 1(conference room) with another
friend of mine. The call started fine with approximately 1 second
lag. But as the call progressed, say after 5 minutes, the lag
worsened. I could see a lag of close to 5-8 seconds.

Why do we have this lag? Is there any way one can get rid of this
lag? Or is it inherent because of flash or the other technologies
used to implement OpenMeeting? I am using skype as a benchmark, which
has absolutely very little or no lag at all(mainly I think because of
the p2p architecture or even because of the technology difference).

I believe all the voice data is routed through the server(correct me
if I am wrong). Is there any chance of moving to a peer to peer
model, to avoid the lag in traveling to the server and then to other
OpenMeeting users in a conference room?
