I checked this parameters:
 cpu = 70 %
java = 1550 mb
RAM= 65 %

The webcam are HD, but resolusion in flash is about 640 x 480 (VGA).
This is not the problem because in stage 2 i don't use webcams, only audio and in this stage openmeetings freeze when screen share is activated (after 10-15 minutes).

In this stage i use 10 normal users + one user with a notebook Toshiba connected trought hdmi at TV screen with resolution 1080p (1920x1080).

The test server is a DELL T7400 (http://www.dell.com/us/en/dfb/desktops/precn_t7400/pd.aspx?refid=precn_t7400&cs=28&s=dfb)
with 4Gb RAM.

Today i'll do more tests and i'll came with more dates.

Thank you.

What kind of Server are you running? Did you check the memory and CPU usage while running the application?

What does HD-Video mean actually? I mean Flash is not able to broadcast HD anyway.

    Hello all,

    I have a problem with openmeetings. Please help me to investigate
    the cause.

    1. Stage 1

    10 users in a room with webcam (hd webcam) and screen share
    activated on one user. All it's ok. Tested one hour and trafics
    goes to 15 mbps (bits/s). This stage was ok with some litle glich.

    2. Stage 2

    11 users in a room, 10 like stage 1 and one with a full hd tv with
    resolution 1080p (1920x1080).
    All users have only audio (no video), one have screen share
    activated and al users watch his screen.
    After 10 -15 minutes openmeetings freeze. Tested twice. First time
    trafic goes to 50mbps and second to 40 mbps.
    Red5 logs "freeze" at same time. The server (centos 5.5) works,
    but red5 don't.

    Server configuration:

    OS: Centos 5.5 (64 bits)
    RAM: 4 GB
    CPU: Intel Xeon e5430 (http://ark.intel.com/Product.aspx?id=33081)
    Java (JDK) = 1.6.0_23
    JAVA_OPTS="-Xrs -Xms512M -Xmx3072M -Xss128K -XX:NewSize=256m
    -XX:+UseLargePages -XX:SurvivorRatio=16 -XX:MinHeapFreeRatio=20
    -XX:+AggressiveHeap -XX:+ExplicitGCInvokesConcurrent
    -XX:+UseConcMarkSweepGC -Djava.net.preferIPv4Stack=true -Xverify:none"

    I think i need more RAM, but if you have other ideas...

    Thank you for all your ideas.

    Geo
