I'm a student in Computer Science and I participate to Openmeetings through an internship at the University of Bordeaux1. The subject of my internship is on a national project of interactive whiteboard that is being deployed. This project will be used by researchers in mathematics (in France) for editing documents remotely for example. For this project, the software platform used is Openmeetings. Even if many of theses features are available, it would be interesting to contribute to the developement project in order to bring new features and/or adaptation of software like for example : handwriting recognition mathematics, publishing above PDF documents, getting a better range of drawing tools etc. My internship began recently and an analysis phase is under study. First, I must to evaluate the software platform and understand the needs and uses that researchers do. Me and the team of engineers who work with me use a whiteboard (brand Polyvision) with a stylus. It's easy to write but we need to take our time to write well on this whiteboard. That's why we want to improve the speed of reaction in order to get a good interactivity. For the moment, we try to focus on this problem. My question is if anybody has already seen or experienced this problem ?
