The handwriting recognition is basically an OCR system I guess. You should try to send the events from the OCR system via SOAP/Web-Service to the openmeetings Server and add some new method to OpenMeetings API to send those events (or signs/point-matrix) from the OCR to the conference room whiteboards.
Implementing a rubber is not that easy, as all objects on the whiteboard are vectors, you can hardly cut them into pieces when you *rub*.
