I guess you have been choosing the wrong device. I personally am using MAC OSX for Openmeetings to test + develop so you can be sure ti works ... I would even say with latest OSX Lion + Micro + Flash Plugin the Echo-Cancellation and overall usability of the Micro in OSX with Openmeetings is really good.
