The issue i dont know but there is something wrong with the
http://code.google.com/p/openmeetings/wiki/UbuntuLucidLTS

which i will see later.

Now i tried with plain system 11.10 Ubuntu.

installed sun-java6-jdk   like here since it is not in default..
http://zeeshanali.com/tech/tips/sun-java-6-on-ubuntu-11-10-oneiric/

after that download , unzip and start it works

I have also enabled Mysql and it also works.

next is to install all of other stuff like openoffice etc
