There is no real answer to it as nginx and lighttpd refer to http
technologies.
OpenMeetings mainly uses rtmp for communication. So actually there is not
that much that you can do with this.

For Class mode you might use room type restricted.

Increase limit of participants in rooms => Login and goto Administration >
Rooms or use the SOAP API. Manipulating the DB values does not work as
there are caches involved.

How to load balance for high traffic ..
=> You can run multiple openmeetings server, or you can try to implement
Edge-Orion Clustering using Red5 and / or you can cluster on hardware level
using virtualization
