It works for me on an Ubuntu 10.11. I had to install the Sun/Oracle JRE which is nuts. Some bandwidth issues remain - there is no way to adapt quality vs. bandwidth by e.g. increasing compression. The consequence is long audio delay which is hard to detect from my side unless the conversation gets confused by it.
