What kind of performance? Bandwidth? I don't think so as you could only measure
download bandwidth and the critical thing is always the upload bandwidth.

The color of the progress bar is the new theme XML file:
http://demo.openmeetings.de/openmeetings/default-theme.xml
The color for the loading bar is the config key: styleMenuBarBaseColor in the
XML file.
There is no need to recompile if you just change the theme. Just maybe clear
your browser cache.
If you want to change the width/height/behaviour of the loading bar you need to
modify the source and compile:
