Hello Alek, The expected behavior after upgrade from the previous version is to work smoothly and flowlessly. We don't test migration from old releases much.
The nature of problems you describe does not seem upgrade related. You may install a clean version to check that. As for recommended configuration, open source solutions tend to work well with the only version of software stack - the latest one. Sometimes new flash players are not very reliable, still I never have seen button problems.
