RE:english.xml EDIT/ADD

Hello Everyone,

                Is it possible to edit or add some new values to English.xml 
(1363215)? I used to edit some default values according to our needs in 
previous revisions, now when I try to edit, same old values are coming at the 
expected positions. I deleted dist folder also before ant build. My Env:Windows 
7 and java 1.6
