Ok, so I went back and tried with setUserObjectandGenerateRoomHash.
Do you need to use any setUserObject properties with this?
Looks like I'm starting to see the desired effect.

Why generating invitation Hash and not usual room hashs?
Invitation hashs are append to the URL with
?invitationHash=$HASH
normal hashs are append with
?secureHash=$HASH
maybe you simple using the wrong url parameter?
