As far as I know Dymola exports icons and diagrams to png and print (i.e. postscript; which is vector graphics but not suitable for editing). Maybe the Windows version has more functionality; I wouldn't know.

Currently, OpenModelica/OMEdit only exports diagrams to png. I don't believe it should be all too hard to add svg export for diagrams and icons though; also see:

Poke Adeel and maybe he can take the time to add the feature.
