Hi Brent,

* The AppData is a hidden folder. You must enable “show hidden files and
folders” option. OR you can type %TEMP% in your start menu search area, it will
take you to Temp folder then look for OpenModelica/OMEdit/stage1Reactor.fmu.
* When you run OMEdit then go to Tools->OMC Logger and send command cd(“c:/”) ,
now OpenModelica outputs everything in this directory (c:/) even the exported
fmus. But this is normally not a good idea since OpenModelica simulation
outputs plenty of files.

Regards,
Adeel.

Subject: OpenModelica FMI

Hei Peter

I tried to save a Modelica program as FMI from OpenModelica 1.8. The result is:

Scripting 15:48:29 0:0-0:0 The FMI is generated at
C:/Users/Bernt/AppData/Local/Temp/OpenModelica/OMEdit/stage1Reactor.fmu

* But directory “AppData” doesn’t seem to exist – or do I have to have
administrative privileges?
* Also, I’d like to be able to decide myself where the .fmu is stored. Can I do
that?

-Bernt
