You create a bitbake recipe for it, put that recipe in your local
OpenEmbedded tree, and build it.

as the result you get an .ipk package, which you can install on the
device using the 'ipkg' command.

Thus, it is in no way different from any other distribution that uses
OpenEmbedded.
