Hello, I'm having trouble placing a call with the dialer. I guess I should ask first whether this should be possible: Is the dialer working?
I am able to dial out using cu and libgsmd-tool.libgsmd-toollibgsmd-tool, but not with the dialer application. Perhaps related, the dialer does not seem to come up consistently. If I invoke it by pressing the icon in the "Home" position, nothing happens except for an occasional flash. If I invoke it by running "/usr/bin/openmoko-dialer" from a shell, the application sometimes comes up, sometimes doesn't. A large number of debug messages are displayed. Now if the dialer is known not to work, what is the required manual steps to take, to place an outgoing call? Thanks, Michael
